The Nana Akuamoah Boateng II Foundation was established on the 30th of October 2013 by Dr Francis Akuamoah Boateng to promote quality education for all. It was established to honour his late father, Nana Akuamoah Boateng II who was the Omanhene of Berekum Traditional Area. Among other things, the NGO seeks to offer scholarship to brilliant but needy pupils in the Berekum Municipality of the Brong Ahafo Region.​
